Amaryah Chockley
Hi, I’m Amaryah Chockley and I grew up in the exotic animal industry, where I gained extensive experience in raising, selling, and caring for a variety of animals! My interest in dog training was sparked in 2017 when I began training my own Service dog as part of my recommended treatment plan.
To prepare for this new venture, I conducted thorough research by attending seminars, listening to podcasts, reading science-based training books, participating in Service dog meetups, and consulting with various experts in the field. As I honed my training skills with my own dogs and began working with other dogs in basic obedience, I also pursued a 4-Year Veterinary Assisting Course. This course included a 1-year veterinary internship, where I acquired valuable skills in medicine, animal handling, and kennel management. While I excelled in this role and gained valuable experience, I ultimately realized that it was not the ideal environment for me.
Since then, I have worked with dogs and owners to provide obedience training for both pets and Service animals, as well as Pet-Sitting. I have a particular focus on trick training and have obtained certification as a Trick Dog Instructor to help dogs and their owners achieve their training objectives. Additionally, I have experience working as a caretaker for newborn Marmoset and Tamarin Monkeys, providing specialized care for these unique animals.
